The Diner is a casual restaurant housed within Dullboy’s Social Co in NSW, Australia and is a modern take on the classic American Diner.
Flag studio was responsible for the brand identity and all aspects of the interior design including menu design, signage, layout, furniture and finishes.
We set out to reference classic American diners but reinterpret them in a modern Australian context suitable for the location in Warners Bay. The interior is light and inviting with the warm homely aspects of a diner without coming across overly themed or kitsch.
The brand mark is centred around the actual blocks that were used as an interior feature of the restaurant and was designed with modularity in mind.
